Gastroenterology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1/2 hour for lunch and time for charting
• Specific Dates: 11/10 - 11/14, 11/17 - 11/21, 11/24 - 11/26
  • Ongoing coverage starting in Jan 2026 through Dec 2026

Clinical Details:

• Setting: Outpatient
• Procedures: 14 - 16 procedures per day, primarily Colonoscopies and EGDs
• Other Procedures: Upper GI Endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser), injections of varices, Esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (flexible), Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
• Support Staff: Dedicated staff of CRNA and RN in each room along with a tech
• Other doctors typically on site

Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified
